After ten months of collecting handmade items from angels from all over the world on November 15th the dream will finally become a reality. All 11 bedrooms for twenty 13- to 18-year-old girls living at the Vision House at Vista Maria will be made over into their very own "sacred haven."
The bedroom walls and hallways will be cheerfully painted. And all of the girls'
rooms will have new lighting, new vanity mirrors, glass knobs, murals, new bedspreads, sheet sets, mattress pads, embroidered pillowcases, area rugs, beautiful vintage dressers from the 40's and 50's, and wooden inspirational signs for each room. Homemade items (curtains, decorative pillows, stuffed kittens, dolls, purses, jewelry, etc) will also be made for the girls and their rooms.
The girls will also receive journals, robes, slippers, pj's, custom jewelry boxes, beauty products, hair care items, books and handmade hope chests.
